Sports Minister M S Gill is angry over the casualness of the behavior of MS Dhoni & Harbhajan Singh for not attending the Padma Shri function when they had to receive an award from our President Pratibha Patil as probably they might be busy shotting for some commercials.
M S Gill said that he will issue a circular to ensure sportspersons treat national awards with respect & he will ensure such an act does not happen again. It seems as if M S Gill is in a habit of ordering people around and he is the master as he sounded like Dhoni & Harbhajan has commited a serious offence by not attending the awards. So what they did not attend, so what they were busy shotting for advertisement or were hanging in a bar, it is them who have earned this status & fame and they bring pride to India and by the way they also pay huge taxes every year from where M S Gill gets paid his salary (under the table is a different case).
By the way we all know how these government awards are decided in the political process & who deserves & who gets awarded. I am sure they are well aware of all this stuff so i guess it was a good decision made by them by shooting commercials & contributing to the taxes rather than attending the function which is yes of national importance but are not at all fair.

Thats what friends are for..A happy & a long life...:D
A wise man said
"Life is a little haraami & we are little haraamkhoors too. When we find someone whose haraamkhori match ours, we fall into mutual harampanti & call it friendship"
This is really true & wow now it has been proved by a research.. :)
Recently i read an article in TOI that a research has been conducted that medicines, doctors etc yes help a person to live longer but the main ingredient for a longer life is friendship. A person tends to live longer in his life if he has friends with whom interaction takes place regularly & develop somewhat similar characteristics as of their friends. They say friends are a really powerful weapon to fight illness, slow aging and prolong living & its very true. Friends are the only people when you can be the TRUE YOU when you are with them & all the other times we wear different masks with different people. I feel really blessed by GOD that i have such lovely friends in my life which i have made for my own selfish reasons (for a longer life).. :)

DLF hugely indebted - Rupees 130 billion (WTF!)
DLF, the largest real estate player in the Indian Market with such a strong brand that they don't even need to market their projects & everything sells out just by the name, is really in a huge problem with about 130 million rupees debt in their books as on end of 2008...Yeah you read that correctly.
Thats not the real problem, the problem is that need to repay 43 billion rupees by June this year and how will they do it...by ofcouse selling real estate (their core business) but in these recessionary times not much people are investing in real estate so they are only left with the option of selling of their non-core businesses like wind power business (which is bound to become big in the coming years) & a lot of people are critizing this decesion but i think they are left with no options other than selling it and thats a real bad sign. They are also planning to sell away with the land that they had kept to be used for retail and other commercial projects and this is the situation of the company when experts believe that the markets are down for sure but have not hit the bottom & the worst is yet to come.
What DLF is just doing is that they are postponing the debt problem but not actually solving it.The markets are still in a correction phase so probably a time can come when they have to pay the other biliion rupee debts and they will find themselves back to square one with the same challenge but without the wind power business to postpone it further.
The other part of the story is that i have heard people that DLF & some other players are in a very comfortable position as they can afford to do major price cuts in their projects (upto 50%) & still not be in a loss. But they are already doing that, RIGHT... DLF projects are being offered at 20-30% discounts but still there arn't many buyers. The major problem for the realtor's are that huge amount of capital gets blocked in their projects & when they fail to find buyers then they land up in the same problem as DLF.
The sure thing is that it will be a real pain for DLF coz they are selling the wind power business as it's right now in a nascent stage but its bound to grow big & they must have planned to reap its benefits in the long term which now they won't be able to. No one knows how the situation & the condition of the real estate will turn up in the future. We should hope for the best as a major part of our economy is dependent on it.

India does not have the balls
Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, you all must have heard his name, ya you are right he is the famous person from Pakistan now in Mumbai caught by the police who is smiling and ordering the government these days that he wants a lawer from Pakistan. Everyone knows that he is a terrorist from Pakistan, accused of 166 murders, caught red handed from the TAJ with ammunation, his father recognised him, a citizen of pakistan & other evidences are all in front of us but after all this he is still a terror suspect by the government...haha....not still a confirmed terrorist.
India is an emerging economy & are setting global standards in various fileds like Tata Nano & now setting another global standard in the making - India is setting a standard for how to treat terrorists & all the facilities they should be given so that they should not feel uncomfortable in the police hands. Kasab is being allowed to meet his mother from Pakistan (she can be a terrorist too), he is being allowed a Muslim Laywer & talks are still on for bringing a lawyer from Pakistan & what will be next Pizza from dominoes...huh...
So now let the court do its duties, the case will start soon & no one knows how long will it last - a few days (i don't think so) 1 year, 5 years, 15 years or 25 years like the riots of 1984 case...India will bloody well take these many years & after soo many evidences to decide that he is a terrorist..till then he will be treated as India ka Damaad with visits from his mother & friends from Pakistan. This is a big red question mark on the Indian Judicial System that they need 25 years to solve one case, thats a hell lot of time means if a case is on for a 50 year old person then we cant really say he'll be alive for the court's decesion...
To tell you frankly i feel India does not have the balls to hang him or punish him in such a way that it becomes a lesson for each & every terrorist that India is ready to face anyone so BRING ON...!!! but but but...India will not do that...They say they have pressures o them...Haha... Narendra Modi says that we are a country of a billion people so we should be putting pressures on others rather than being pressurised & i think he is right.
Thats for time to see what happens with Kasab but now i have stopped hoping after all this.. :(
